ATLANTA, Ga. – The Virginia Tech men's and women's track and field teams concluded the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday at the George C. Griffin Track in Atlanta with Judson Lincoln IV being named the ACC Men's Track Most Valuable Performer.

Lincoln led the meet in points (31) scoring first in the 400m, 200m, and 4x400m relay. He destroyed the ACC Outdoor Championships meet record, and the Hokies' school record, running sub-45 in the 400m finals. Lincoln's time ranks first in the NCAA and automatically qualifies him the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in June. Teammate Kennedy Harrison placed fourth with a season-best time of 45.95.

"Judson remains committed to making history and honoring the tradition of spectacular Hokies that came before him," said assistant coach Alan Dunson. "He's unforgiving and selfish about his goals, and uncompromisingly selfless about his teammates. We are immeasurably proud of his record-breaking performances and excited to see him continue to mature throughout the current championship season. Judson is just get started!"

Clocking a personal-best time of 20.51, Lincoln secured his second gold medal of the day crossing the finish line first in the 200m. KJ Tillmon clocked in sixth with a time of 21.10.

The men's 4x400m relay (B) team made up of Kennedy Harrison, Kahleje "KJ" Tillmon, Nick Plant, and Judson Lincoln IV closed out the men's competition with Lincoln running a 44.23 split in final lap. Smiling as he took the lead from Clemson in the home stretch, Lincoln knew he had safely secured the ACC Men's Track Most Valuable Performer title clocking in at 3:03.35. The men's (B) team recorded the 21st fastest relay time this season in the NCAA, second all-time at Tech.

Plant, a sophomore from Canfield, Ohio, finished fourth in the 800m finals recording a time of 1:47.43. Senior Lindsey Butler captured bronze in the women's 800m race stopping the clock at 2:04.28. Star Price finished sixth with a time of 2:05.31.

Jumps
Senior Aidan Clark won his first-ever ACC title clearing a personal-best height of 7' 2.5" (2.20m) in the high jump. Clark jumped clean through 7' 1.5" (2.17m), clearing 2.20m on his second attempt.

He added 10 points to the men's score and earned first team All-ACC honors, 11th in the NCAA. EJ Bell and Brandon Burke tied for fourth in the event clearing 7' 0.25" (2.14m). The men were awarded second team All-ACC honors.

Victoria Gorlova made her way back to top of the podium for a second time this weekend, finishing first in the triple jump with a first round mark of 43' 6.5" (13.27m).

Freshman Chidozie Kalu placed seventh in the men's triple jump with a distance of 50' 2" (15.29m).

Throws
Freshman Vlad Puchko earned bronze in the men's discus with a second round throw of 193'4" (58.92m), his first ACC Championship appearance.

Katrin Brzyszkowska recorded one point for the Hokies women's team placing eighth in discus with a mark of 155' 9" (47.47m).
