Nick Plant Season 2024

2023 Outdoors: Named ACC Outdoor Freshman of the Year... Finished 12th in the 800m at the NCAA Championships with a time of 1:49.17, second team All-American... Competed at the NCAA East Prelim quarterfinals crossing the line first in the 800m with a time of 1:49.21... Placed first in the 800m prelims (1:47.18) and finals (1:47.41) at the ACC Outdoor Championships... Finished second in the 800m at the Mt. SAC Relays clocking in a time of 1:48.71... Won the 1500m at Vertklasse stopping the clock at 3:47.94... Set a personal-best 1500m time of 3:46.08 at Toms Alumni Invitational.

2023 Indoors: Placed first the distance medley relay with a time of 9:28.86 at the ACC Indoor Championships... Ran a personal-best time of 1:19.37 at the Virginia Tech Challenge in the 600m finishing first... Placed 23rd at David Hemery Valentine Invite stopping the clock at 1:50.04... Earned All-ACC Academic honors. 

High School: 2022 and 2021 OHSAA D1 outdoor state champion in the 800m... Placed first at the 2022 indoor state championships in the 1600m. 

Personal: Son of Coleen and Les Plant... Has three siblings, Alexander, Shaylea, and Linsey ... Plans to major in human nutrition, foods, and exercise.
