Women's Basketball Promotions

Thank you for your interest in Virginia Tech Women's Basketball! Below are promotions and entertainment details for the 2024-25 season. All promotions are subject to change at any time, and quantities indicated are while supplies last. In addition, please refer to the Cassell Coliseum Fan Guide for more gameday information. SEASON-LONG PROMOTIONS & OPPORTUNITIES

Hokie Kids' Club Offers. Kids' Club Maroon Level members may redeem complimentary tickets (one per member) for regular season home women’s basketball games, and guests may purchase additional tickets at the $12 (adults) and $7 (youth) rates. More information and specific instructions are sent to members in November. If you have any questions, please email us at vtmarketingpromotions@gmail.com
 — Hokie Kids' Club Day. For the designated Kids' Club game on Sunday, Dec. 15, Orange Level members may claim complimentary tickets (one per member), and guests may purchase additional tickets at the $12 (adults) and $7 (youth) rates, via promo code distributed through email in early December. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and members must be accompanied by an adult.
Parking. On-campus parking is metered 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Visitors must pay for parking within these hours via the ParkMobile app or the Parking Services office (online, or in-person 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at 505 Beamer Way). Lot 1 requires a parking pass for all regular season home games and does not require day-of purchased parking. Visitors will not need to use ParkMobile for Lot 1. Other public lots will require you to pay for parking via ParkMobile. If you have any questions or concerns, please email parking@vt.edu or call 540-231-3200. 
2025-26 Season Tickets. Lock in your Hokie fandom for next season! Renew your tickets today to take advantage of extra priority point incentives before the March 1 deadline. 
Maroon & Orange Memories. Elevate your gameday with Maroon & Orange Memories! Gameday experiences are available for purchase starting October 21 and include playing "Enter Sandman" before tipoff, watching warmups from the sidelines, and more. Click here to check out the full list. Experiences will go on sale on a monthly basis for winter sports: October 21 for November events; November 18 for December events; December 16 for January events; and January 13 for February and March events.

SINGLE-GAME PROMOTIONS

Monday, Nov. 4 vs. UNC Wilmington at 5:00 p.m.
A New Era Night. Fans, families, and students will welcome a new era of Virginia Tech basketball with Mike Young and Megan Duffy at the helm during this season-opening doubleheader.  
High Performance Canines. Fans can enjoy a halftime of frisbee dogs at Cassell! 
In-Venue Host Bailey Angle. Fans may enjoy live contests and interactive promotions throughout the game with In-Venue Host Bailey Angle.

Wednesday, Nov. 13 vs. UNC Asheville at 6:00 p.m.
Cassell Guard Night. We're taking the night to celebrate one of the best and loudest student sections in the country, Cassell Guard! Students are encouraged to attend and learn how to cheer on the Hokies to victory. 
In-Venue Host Bailey Angle. Fans may enjoy live contests and interactive promotions throughout the game with In-Venue Host Bailey Angle.

Saturday, Nov. 16 vs. Coppin State at 2:00 p.m.
Welcome to Genovia. Join us for a Princess Diaries-themed day in Cassell in celebration of the third movie in production.
 — Pajama Party. Based on the movies, pajamas are encouraged for the game! 

Tuesday, Nov. 19 vs. Rutgers at 6:00 p.m.
Take a Break Tuesday. Students can take a break from midterms with a fun night at Cassell.  

Saturday, Nov. 23 vs. Elon at 2:00 p.m.
#LOVE: Autism Friendly Game. Join us at Cassell for the #LOVE: Autism Friendly Game, which serves to encourage inclusivity and acceptance of others, while providing a game with expanded accommodations such as lowered audio volume, a SAFE space, and more. Fans are encouraged to attend the game in support of a cause close to the program while learning more about autism and our community. 
 — Special Olympics. Virginia Tech Women's Basketball welcomes Special Olympics to the game, highlighting a unique partnership between the teams. 

Sunday, Dec. 15 vs. Radford at 4:00 p.m.
Core Memories Night, Pt. 2. All kids are encouraged to join us at Cassell for an Inside Out-themed doubleheader!
In-Venue Host Bailey Angle. Fans may enjoy live contests and interactive promotions throughout the game with In-Venue Host Bailey Angle.

Saturday, Dec. 21 vs. Campbell at 12:00 p.m.
Holiday Hoops. Fans are invited back to Cassell for the holidays, where the spirit of the season meets the thrill of basketball!
Little Leapers. Enjoy the talents of the Little Leapers dance team at halftime.

Thursday, Jan. 2 vs. Florida State at 6:00 p.m.
Just Dance. Bring your best dance moves to the basketball court as we dance the night away!

Sunday, Jan. 12 vs. Wake Forest at 2:00 p.m.
Alzheimer's Awareness. Join Virginia Tech Women's Basketball as they strive to raise awareness around Alzheimer's Disease and its effects on our community. 
 — The Power of Purple. Fans are encourage to wear purple to show their support for a cause close to the program.
Dance.tech. Fans may enjoy the live performance by local dance group, Dance.tech! 

Thursday, Jan. 16 vs. Virginia at 6:00 p.m.
Smithfield Commonwealth Clash. Pack Cassell as the Hokies compete for a point in the year-long Commonwealth Clash, presented by Smithfield.
In-Venue Host Bailey Angle. Fans may enjoy live contests and interactive promotions throughout the game with In-Venue Host Bailey Angle.
Red Panda. Fans may enjoy the iconic Red Panda during halftime.

Sunday, Jan. 19 vs. Louisville at 4:00 p.m.
Liz Kitley Night. Make your way to Cassell as we honor Liz Kitley's incredible contributions to the program with an exclusive giveaway, in-venue activations, and the jersey retirement ceremony. 
 — Liz Kitley Jersey Retirement. Stay in your seats at halftime as we unveil Liz Kitley's jersey in the rafters of Cassell during a special moment of celebration in her honor.

Thursday, Jan. 30 vs. Notre Dame at 6:00 p.m.
Shoes 4 Hope Night. For the third consecutive year, the Hokies are partnering with Carilion Children’s Hospital to host the Shoes 4 Hope Night at Cassell as part of Coaches vs. Cancer, a nationwide initiative that empowers basketball coaches, their teams, and local communities to make a difference in the fight against cancer. Pediatric patients are invited to design and paint shoes worn by the Virginia Tech coaches during the game, which are auctioned to support Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Carilion. Sunday, Feb. 2 vs. SMU at 2:00 p.m.
Pink Out. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to Cassell in support of the team's breast cancer awareness initiative. 
Play4Kay.
Head to Cassell for our annual PlayKay game as we strive to raise awareness for breast cancer and its effects on our community. 
National Girls & Women in Sports Day.
An annual event, Virginia Tech Women's Basketball celebrates National Girls & Women in Sports Day at Cassell by highlighting an all-female in-venue crew, hosting an exclusive workshop for girls during the game, and recognizing the achievements of various Virginia Tech women, past and present. National Girls & Women in Sports Day is officially celebrated on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025. 
 — Girls In-Game Workshop. All girls in the eighth grade and under are invited to join our staff for a special in-game workshop, which provides an opportunity for them to learn about and shadow female staff at the game. The official registration form will open later in the season, but please email vtmarketingpromotions@gmail.com if you have any questions in advance. 

Thursday, Feb. 6 vs. Syracuse at 6:00 p.m.
#LOVE: Black History Month. As part of the month-long initiative to encourage inclusivity and education, Virginia Tech Women's Basketball celebrates Black History Month in Cassell through in-game recognitions, concourse activations, a halftime collaboration with the Black Cultural Center, and more.

Thursday, Feb. 20 vs. Stanford at 8:00 p.m.
Clue Night. We have a mystery on our hands, and dwe need your help to solve the case! Enjoy Clue-themed contests and activations during the midweek matchup at Cassell. 

Sunday, Feb. 23 vs. Cal at 2:00 p.m.
Senior Day. Join us at Cassell as we celebrate our graduating Hokies before our final regular season game at home!
