Men's soccer announced on Monday six new additions to the program, with three of them joining as mid-years.

After leading men's basketball to a pair of home wins, grad student Grant Basile was named ACC Player of the Week. Basile becomes the second Hokie to earn the award since senior Justyn Mutts was named on Dec. 5.
 
Virginia Tech football's 2023 schedule was officially announced Monday night on ACC Network, and there is plenty of momentum buzzing in Blacksburg heading into Year 2 of the Brent Pry era.
 
Virginia Tech women's tennis announced on Tuesday the hiring of Omar "Mario" El Allami as volunteer assistant coach for the Hokies.

in celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, Virginia Tech Athletics and the Hokie Club have announced their comprehensive campaign to uplift women's athletics, Elevate Her.
 
The top 10 candidates for the 2023 Cheryl Miller Award were announced on Wednesday afternoon and included in the list was grad student Taylor Soule. The award recognizes the top small forwards in women's NCAA Division I college basketball.
 
Brent Pry announced on Thursday that Brandon Dillard and Ryan Hardie are joining the program as assistant strength and conditioning coaches.
 
Senior Elizabeth Kitley secured a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds to help women's basketball defeat the Syracuse Orange 78-64 at home Thursday.
 
To follow up her double-double performance from the night prior, Kitley was named one of the top 10 candidates for the 2023 Lisa Leslie award list on Friday. The award recognizes the top centers in women's NCAA Division I college basketball.
 
Sixth-year grad student Kiernan Higgins became the fourth Hokie to earn Preseason All-American honors. The relief pitcher received his first such honor on Thursday from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).
 
On Friday, men's tennis picked up two wins after defeating both St. Bonaventure and Davidson to a score of 7-0.
 
No. 9 wrestling bounced back in a big way, traveling to Durham and handling Duke 45-0 on Friday night.
 
In the latest edition of the Commonwealth Clash, presented by Smithfield, men's basketball took down No. 6 Virginia 74-68 on Saturday.
 
Over the weekend, track & field hosted the Doc Hale Meet. Highlights of day one included Hokies finishing first and second in the men's 800m, while freshman Kenna Stimmel stole the show in the women's pole vault on the second day.
 
Swim & dive also impressed over the weekend, hosting the Virginia Tech Invitational. The Hokies set multiple top 10 times and broke five pool records on Friday and broke four more on Saturday.
 
Women's tennis improved to 5-0 on the season after sweeping Richmond and Radford 7-0 on Sunday.
 
Men's tennis ended the weekend splitting the doubleheader on Sunday.
