Hokies earn 19 USTFCCCA All-Academic honors

NEW ORLEANS, La. – On Wednesday afternoon the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its All-Academic recipients, with 20 Virginia Tech athletes earning recognition.
 
Featuring 10 women and 9 men, the Hokies are well represented on the All-Academic teams. Additionally, the Hokies' women's squad earned the honor of being named an All-Academic program with a cumulative team GPA higher than 3.00.
 
Athletes who receive All-Academic honors must meet several athletic and academic criteria. Each athlete must achieve a cumulative GPA higher than 3.25 and qualify for either the NCAA Indoor Championships or the NCAA Outdoor Preliminary rounds.
