- The 49,000-square-foot building is devoted solely to Virginia Tech Men's and Women's basketball and grants student-athletes 24-hour access.
- The center features top-tier amenities, including a front entrance with large player graphics and memorabilia displays. Upstairs are coaches' offices—women’s on the left, men’s on the right—with a shared small kitchen between them.
- Each wing includes five assistant coach offices, a conference room, and a large head coach office with private bathrooms, closets, and views of the courts and outdoors. Both head coaches also have balconies overlooking the basketball courts.
- Also on the ground floor are a large equipment room with an office, a training room with two exam rooms, therapy tubs, and six treatment tables, plus a large strength and conditioning area with two staff offices.
- The weight and training rooms open directly onto the practice courts, which can be divided by a soft wall for simultaneous use. The courts feature large player graphics and match the Cassell Coliseum floor to replicate game conditions.
