KEY DETAILS

  • Membership Model: Each membership includes a guaranteed ticket for all ten ACC home games, with special member only pricing for non-conference games that must be purchased separately during two windows in October and November.
  • Seat Location: All non-conference tickets claimed will be in the same seats selected for conference home games. Members must claim all tickets on their account or none.
  • Non-Conference Game Member Only Pricing:
    • $5 per ticket, per game
    • $30 per ticket for the SEC/ACC Challenge against Vanderbilt

WHEN CAN I PURCHASE NON-CONFERENCE TICKETS?

  • Window #1:
    • Opens: October 1, 2024
    • Deadline: October 8, 2024
    • Games to Claim: All November non-conference games (Del. State, USC Upstate, Winthrop, Jacksonville)
  • Window #2:
    • Opens: November 4, 2024
    • Deadline: November 11, 2024
    • Games to Claim: All December non-conference games (Vanderbilt ($30), NC A&T, Navy)

HOW DO I PURCHASE NON-CONFERENCE TICKETS?

  1. Beginning at 10 a.m. on the first date of each purchase window (Oct. 1 & Nov. 4) ticket members will be able to log in to their online ticket accounts to complete each respective non-conference ticket order.
  2. After logging in and accessing the ordering page, select the non-conference games you want to purchase tickets for and exclude the games you do not plan to attend. Members must claim all tickets on your account or none. For example, if you have 4 ticket memberships and would like to order tickets for the game against Vanderbilt, you must order all 4 tickets.
  3. A reminder that your seats will be automatically assigned to the same location you selected for conference home games.
  4. After completing the check-out process you’re all set! Tickets will be delivered digitally following the deadline for each window.

WHY THE SWITCH AND COMMON QUESTIONS

Scan rates have shown on average that less than 30% of season ticket holders are attending non-conference games at Cassell Coliseum. Single game ticket buyers are attending those at a much higher rate of over 90%. Our mission is to create the best environment in Cassell Coliseum for every game, conference and non-conference, and we want to make sure the tickets get into the hands of those who plan to attend those games. 

The ticket membership to Virginia Tech men’s basketball guarantees tickets to all conference games played at Cassell Coliseum. Although it replaces the standard full season package, the priority point count remains the same. Tickets for non-conference games can be claimed for an additional charge per game and ticket members will have first access to claim tickets to these games. The seat location for these tickets will be in the same place as the ticket membership buyer’s conference tickets. Details regarding claim window(s) will be shared as the season approaches. 

Log into your account during the claim windows and select your tickets. All tickets must be purchased or turned down for each game. 

Yes, your seat location will be the same as for conference home games. 

$5 per ticket, per game, except for the SEC/ACC Challenge against Vanderbilt, which is $30 per ticket. 

Unclaimed tickets will not be available after the claim window closes, so be sure to claim your tickets within the specified timeframe. To help keep the venue full and the atmosphere at the highest level, all unclaimed non-conference tickets will be made available to the general public.

Can I claim fewer tickets than the total number in my account for a non-conference game? No, you must claim all tickets associated with your account for each non-conference game. If you have 4 tickets in your account, you need to claim all 4 tickets for that game. 

Non-conference single-game tickets are currently available for sale to the general public and are sold without an assigned seat location at the time of purchase. Click here to purchase.

The ticket membership program only applies to men’s basketball. Women’s basketball season tickets continue to include a ticket to all regular season home games. Single-game tickets for women’s basketball will be available for purchase later this fall.
