Virginia Tech Men's Basketball Recruiting

PROUD PAST, PROMISING FUTURE

With a legacy that dates back to our first game on January 22, 1909, Virginia Tech men’s basketball has built a tradition rooted in hard work, resilience and growth. From 13 NCAA tournament appearances—including a memorable Sweet 16 run in 2019—to capturing the ACC Championship in 2022 and two NIT titles in 1973 and 1995, our history is rich with milestones. But we’re just getting started. As we honor our proud past, we’re building a promising future—one defined by elite development, passionate fan support and a relentless drive to compete at the highest level.
