Autukaite was elevated to assistant coach following the 2021-22 season. She previously served as player personnel specialist on the staff during the 2021-22 season and a graduate assistant in the program beforehand joining the staff in 2017. Her former job responsibilities have included coordinating the male practice team, helping maintain the recruitment database, assisting with administrative duties and other day-to-day operational tasks related to the program.
In her first season as an assistant in 2022-23, the Hokies were crowned ACC champs and made a run all the way to the Final Four.
A guard in her playing days, Autukaite has helped Coach Brooks develop VT athletes like Aisha Sheppard, Kendyl Brooks and Taylor Emery, some of the best shooters to ever wear maroon and orange.
Point guard Georgia Amoore won the ACC's MVP of the ACC Tournament in 2023 and went on to be Seattle 3 Region's Most Outstanding Player in the NCAA Tournament. She was a First Team All-ACC athlete during the regular season and also garnered AP All-America Honorable Mention precognition. During the 2022-23 season she set a program record for 3's in a single season with 116, which ranked second nationally.
In the 2023 WNBA Draft, the Hokies had two selections, Kayana Traylor and Taylor Soule for the first time in program history.
Prior to joining Virginia Tech, Autukaite served as a Graduate Assistant Coach at Webber International University. During two seasons at Webber, Autukaite’s responsibilities varied from recruiting, organizing community service events, monitoring study hall, scheduling and assisting on the court with practices and games. In addition, Autukaite earned her MBA with a sports management concentration.
As an undergraduate student, Autukaite graduated from Reinhardt University while earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. During her career as a student-athlete Autukaite received the NAIA AAC Female Champion of Character Award for all sports. This award is given to a female athlete who exhibits integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and a servant leadership to the best of their ability. In addition, she was named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete several years in a row.
Prior to moving to the United States, Autukaite played for the Lithuanian National Team at the U-16, U-18 and U-20 levels.
