Carys Baker Season 2023-24

2023-24 (True Freshman)
Baker appeared in every game off the bench, playing 11.7 minutes per game. She averaged 3.4 points per game, shooting 38% from beyond the 3-point line. She scored in double figures twice, with a season-best 18-point performance against LIU where she went 4-6 from beyond the arc.

High School (Loomis Chaffee)

• Ranked 58 in 2023 ESPN HoopGurlz recruiting rankings.
• Played club ball for Team Exodus NYC EYBL for three years with coach Thomas Davis.
• Played for Loomis Chaffee for five years and was an NEPSAC Class A champion in 2021-22. Also played volleyball for two years in high school.

Personal 

• Birthday is March 15
• Daughter of Maura Rodgers and Vin Baker
• Father Vin played hoops at Hartford (class of 1993) and is in that school’s Hall of Fame. He played 15 seasons in the NBA and was a four-time All-Star. Baker is currently an assistant coach for the Milwaukee Bucks.
• Mother Maura played hoops at Hartford (class of 1993).
• Plans to major in sports media and analytics and wants to be a sports broadcaster. Currently enrolled in general communications courses.
