Brittany Clark joined the Virginia Tech women’s basketball staff in the summer of 2018 after most recently serving as head coach at Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. She finished her time there with an overall record of 68-33 (0.673). During her tenure, Clark’s teams earned a Region Championship (2017), two Region Runner-Ups, a District Championship, two Top-20 NJCAA national rankings, and a trip to the Division II NJCAA National Tournament for only the second time in school history, the previous time being when Clark was a student-athlete on the team in 2011.

Clark has recruited and coached two All-Americans, five first team All-Region players and one second team All-Region player, along with one Region Player of the Year, one Region Tournament MVP, and made appearances in all three of her seasons in the Region XIX Championship game. 

Some of her greatest accomplishments include her 2017-18 team earning the third highest cumulative GPA in the country on the WBCA Academic Honor Roll for all NJCAA divisions, the highest in Harcum College Women’s Basketball 14-year history. She graduated all sixteen sophomores she has coached to earn their associate’s degree, sending fourteen on to play at the Division I, II, and III levels.

In 2017, Clark earned Harcum’s Outstanding Young Alumna Award, which recognizes a member of the graduating class from the most recent 10 years who has made extraordinary advancements in his or her career, been an active member of the Alumni Association, or supported the College in a significant manner.

Clark is a graduate of Division I NAIA Coastal Georgia, where she played for Coach Betsy Harris and earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology earning magna cum laude honors in 2013. She transferred to Coastal Georgia after earning her associate’s degree in sports management from Harcum College in 2011, while participating on the two-time Region XIX Championship team. Harcum finished 29-3 and 8th in the country in her sophomore season, as she earned All-Academic honors.

She comes from a family of coaching; her father has coached and trained athletes from the elementary to college and professional levels, has earned two National Championships with Trinity College of Florida for both the men and women’s programs, where her parents currently reside. Her older brother Tim is the director of basketball operations for Virginia Tech women’s basketball team.

Clark plans to pursue a career in coaching women’s basketball at the collegiate level. She is currently working toward earning her master's of arts in education in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis on instructional technology. 

Clark was raised in Midlothian, Virginia.
