Prior to Virginia Tech
- Played at Eastern Florida where she earned First Team All-Suncoast Conference honors.
- She also was on the All-State Team, the 2018 All-Tournament Team and was an honorable mention All-American.
- Obouh Fegue has represented France as well, helping the 3v3 U18 team to a second place finish at the European Championships.
- With France she also helped the U16 team place 5th at the Euros and earn qualification to the World Championships.

- The daughter of Thierry and Sylvie Obouh Fegue, Alex has two siblings, Julien and Benjamin.
- She comes from a basketball family, with both parents and both brothers having all spent time playing professionally in France.
- Alex aspires to play in the WNBA at the conclusion of her collegiate career.
- She is majoring in sociology.
