Sheppard averaged better than 13 points per game and scored in double figures 22 times with a high of 30 vs. Tennessee in December. She broke the program's scoring record, her own single-season 3-point mark and the ACC's career 3FG record in 2021-22.

2020-21 (Senior)

  • Started all 25 games averaging 17.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists.
  • Scored 20 or more points in nine games.
  • Broke her own single season 3-point record with 87.
  • Scored 28 points, including 18 in the overtime period of the program's highest AP ranked win, over No. 2 NC State on Jan. 28, 2021.

2019-20 (Junior)

  • Started all 30 contests and led the Hokies at 14.8 points per game while adding 3.1 rebounds.
  • Shot 39% from the field and 37% from beyond the arc.
  • Knocked down eight triples twice, first in a 28-point effort at NC State then again in a 32-point effort vs. Virginia.


2018-19 (Sophomore)

  • Started 11 games during the season and appeared off the bench in every other contest.
  • Scored a season-high 17 points twice, including in the Hokies' upset of No. 13 Miami on Feb. 21.
  • Knocked down 59 triples to climb into eighth place all-time in program history.

2017-18 (Freshman)

  • Sheppard appeared in all 37 games of her freshman season, making 10 starts. A sharpshooter, Sheppard led the team with 76 3-point baskets, a freshman record at Virginia Tech.
  • The Alexandria, Virginia native knocked down seven triples on the road against eventual national champion, Notre Dame, tying the program record for most in an ACC contest, en route to a season-high 21 points.
  • Sheppard recorded 10 points in her Virginia Tech debut against Wagner. She scored in double figures 15 times, averaging 8.2 points per game.

  • The Gatorade Player of the Year for Washington, D.C., Sheppard lettered at St. John’s Catholic for coach Jonathan Scribner. She was also recognized as the MVP at the She’s Got Game and Art Turner Tournaments, USA Today High School All-American, first team WCAC, All-USA Washington D.C. first team, All-Metro Player of the Year, second team D.C. All-Tournament and Sheppard was an ESPN HoopGurlz 5-star recruit

 
Personal

  • Born on Nov. 13, the daughter of Darlene Sheppard, she has three siblings.
  • Sheppard owns a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism and is enrolled in grad school studying agricultural and life sciences.
