Carleigh Wenzel Season 2024-25

2023-24 (Redshirt Freshman)
Played in all 33 games, starting once in the win over Clemson. She averaged 4.2 points per game, 2.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists. Wenzel scored a season-best 12 points in the NCAA Tournament vs. Marshall. In that game she also recorded six rebounds, seven assists and two blocks, becoming just the third woman in program history to record 12-6-7-2 in the same contest.

Attended O’Connor High School where she played for two seasons scoring over 1,000 points … Named the Express News Newcomer of the year during her freshman season and the team’s offensive MVP the following season … Attended Antonian College Preparatory where she reached 1,500 points and was named TAPPS All-State, TAPPS Academic All-State, TAPPS First Team All-South Texas, TABCC All-Region, TABC All-State as well as San Antonio Express News Super Team member … 44^th-highest rated player in the class of 2022 and tenth-highest rated guard
