2025 (Junior): Competed in 53 sets and 17 matches this season, making nine starts... Totaled 79 kills, eight service aces, 67 digs and 22 block assists... Recorded a career-high 15 kills, 18 points and 39 attacks in Virginia Tech’s 3-2 victory over Duke... Also posted career highs of 14 digs, five blocks and five block assists against Syracuse, and matched her career-best three service aces against Notre Dame... Named to the ACC All-Academic Team.
2024 (Sophomore) : Played in 15 matches with five starts... Appeared in 42 sets... Accumulated 27 kills, nine assists, 11 aces, 75 digs and two block solos... Reached a career-high seven kills versus then-No. 16 Florida State (10/06) and a career-high three aces versus Miami (10/04)... Did not see action in the second half of the season due to injury.
2023 (Freshman): Played in 15 matches, appearing in 35 sets ... Recorded 13 kills ... Had 50 digs ... Registered a career-high ten digs against East Carolina (9/16) ... Had three kills vs. Georgia Tech (9/29).
High School: Two-time AVCA Phenom… Recorded 1,000 career kills at Harpeth Hall, as well as earning a spot on the All-Region Team all four years of her career, and making the All-Tournament Team each year of her career… Helped her team to a 2019 District Championship and was also named the All-Region MVP as a junior and senior, while also serving as captain… As a member of the Alliance Volleyball Club, was named to the All-Tournament Team at Nationals… Named to the Class of 2023 Watch List in 2020 and 2021.
Personal: Daughter of Laura Aylward… Has two siblings, Mary Catherine and Richard… Plans to major in psychology with the hopes of becoming a school counselor or athletic director.
