2024: Saw action in 30 matches with 29 starts... Appeared in all 109 sets... Accumulated 73 kills, 779 assists, 27 aces, 190 digs and 51 total blocks... Reached a career-high 11 kills at Virginia (11/4), a career-high 20 digs at Virginia (11/4) and a career-high six total blocks at Clemson (10/13)... Recoded double-digit assists in all 30 matches... Became the first Hokie to boast a triple-double since 2019, with 11 kills, 25 assists and 20 digs at Virginia (11/4)... Also recorded three double-doubles - versus UNCG (9/14 || 36 A, 10 D), at Wake Forest (9/29 || 24 A, 10 D) and at Syracuse (10/27 || 24 A, 15 D).
Prior to Virginia Tech: Previously spent two seasons with Utah appearing in 46 matches for the Utes… Tallied 1149 assists, adding 79 blocks, 205 digs, 48 kills and 39 aces in her 147 sets played… She finished her career as a Ute with 131 total points… As a freshman, appeared in 16 matches, recording 145 assists, 25 digs, 16 total blocks and 19 points… Tallied six matches with double-digit assists, including a season high 41 against BYU (09/15)… Her sophomore year, started in all 30 matches, recording 1004 assists, 180 digs, 63 total blocks, 38 kills and 38 service aces, totaling 112 points… Tallied 30+ assists in twenty matches… Set a career high of 51 assists at Washington (10/15)… Had double-digit digs in four matches… Recorded double-digit assists in all but one match… Registered five blocks twice, vs. USC (10/29) and vs. Colorado (11/24)… Captained the U18 Canadian National Team in 2021… Was a member of the Canadian National Team participating in the U21 Norceca Championship in La Paz, Mexico.
Personal: Daughter of David and Denyse Wahlgren… Has two younger siblings, Ella and Natalie… David and Denyse were both student-athletes at Tulsa… Graduated from Dr. Frank J. Hayden Secondary School… Plans to major in Public Health.
