High School: Four-year letter winner at Tift County High School for coach Eric Holland … Led Tift County to the Class 7A Georgia State Championship as a senior and was also a member of the 2014 championship team ... Was named first-team All-State and was an all-state selection by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution ... He was named to the GACA All-Star team and was the MVP of the all-star game with 28 points and 14 rebounds ... While at Tift County, the team was 111-10 in four years, with four consecutive regional championships. He scored 1,671 career points, grabbed 811 career rebounds and had 203 career blocked shots. He averaged 16.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game for his career. As a senior, he averaged 25.3 points and 11.0 rebounds per game, scoring more than 700 points.
