Made his first career start at St. John's, grabbing four rebounds and blocking his first shot in 20 minutes of action ... Recorded four rebounds and a block against James Madison ... Primarily played on the Astronauts' junior team, but saw limited action on the primary team ... Prior to playing for the Astronauts, played for the Canadians club team from 2000-03, as well as the Hoppers club team in Hoorn in 2000 ... Was a league all-star with the Canadians in 2003, when the team was a finalist in the Dutch junior league ... Participated in the NBA and FIBA's "Basketball Without Borders" program, a three-day camp that brings together more than 50 of the top international players between the ages of 15 and 18 in Treviso, Italy ... Played on the North team at the FEB Under-23 All-Star game during the 2003-04 season ... A member of the Netherlands Under-18 and Under-23 national teams ... In 2004, was a member of the Netherlands Under-18 team that played in the Albert Schweitzer Tournament, where he was selected to the all-tournament team ...
