Prior to playing for the Astronauts, played for the Canadians club team from 2000-03, as well as the Hoppers club team in Hoorn in 2000 ... Was a league all-star with Canadians in 2003, when the team was a finalist in the Dutch junior league ... Participated in the NBA and FIBA's "Basketball Without Borders" program last summer, a three-day camp that brings together more than 50 of the top international players between the ages of 15 and 18 in Treviso, Italy ... Also played on the North team at the FEB Under 23 All-Star game during the 2003-04 season ... A member of the Netherlands Under 18 and Under 23 national teams ... In 2004, was a member of the Netherlands Under 18 team that played in the Albert Schweitzer Tournament, where he was selected to the all-tournament team ...
