2020-21 (at Wofford): Started all 24 games … Named First Team All-Southern Conference … SoCon All-Tournament Team … NABC All-District 21 First Team … CoSIDA Academic All-District selection … Featured on Lou Henson Award Mid-Season Watch List … Averaged 17.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists this past year … Was one of only 11 players to average that stat line or better nationally … Tallied double figures in 21 of 24 contests, including 10 20-point performances, and dished over five assists on eight occasions … Concluded the season among the top of several statistical categories within the SoCon – second in assists (4.3) and free-throw percentage (.843); fourth in scoring (17.8); seventh in field-goal percentage (.470) and 3-point percentage (.400) and eighth in assist/turnover ratio (1.6) … One of the all-time greats, recording 1,315 career points to finish 24th on the program's all-time scoring list, while being slotted third in career starts (126), fourth in free-throw percentage (.849), fifth in assists (472 overall; 3.7/g) and 3-point percentage (.417) and ninth in 3-point field goals made (225).

Second on the team with 64 made 3-pointers, shooting 42.1 percent from behind the arc ... Hit two or more threes 23 times ... Led team with 26 points and three assists in win over High Point ... Scored 18 points against William & Mary and 19 at Butler ... Totaled 19 points at UMES, scoring 16 while dishing out five assists against Gardner-Webb ... Scored 15 points going 5-of-10 from 3-point range in upset-win over No. 17 North Carolina ... Led team with 24 points at Kennesaw State ... Scored a career-high 19 points in a win against VMI ... Recorded two steals in five games ... Grabbed a career-high seven rebounds at Oklahoma ... Handed out four or more assists in 13 games, totaling six assists four times ... Scored 14 points and had four assists against The Citadel ... Hit the game-winning 3-pointer against Furman ... Went 2-2 from the floor with six points and three assists at California ... Led all players with seven assists and added six points and five rebounds in the win over Bob Jones ... Earned his first career start and had eight assists against North Florida ... At Texas Tech, led the Terriers with five assists ... Had three rebounds at UNC Asheville ... High School: Four year letter-winner at Middleton High School, playing under coach Kevin Bavery ... During his junior season, Murphy, a team captain, led his team to the region finals, averaging 18.4 points per game and 4.5 assists per game ... Named First Team All-Conference and was an honorable mention All-State selection in his junior year ... Team MVP junior year ... Named honorable mention all-conference in his sophomore season ... Played on the summer circuit for EYBL Mac Irvin Fire under Mike Irvin.
