BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Virginia Tech men's and women's track and field programs earned a combined 20 individual honors on the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team for the 2025-26 indoor and outdoor seasons. Both the Hokies' men's and women's teams also received USTFCCCA All-Academic Team recognition, the organization announced Monday.
To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, student-athletes must maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. Nominees also must have completed at least two semesters or three quarters at their institution.
Student-athletes must also meet performance standards during either the indoor or outdoor season. For the indoor season, individuals must finish the year ranked among the top 96 nationally in a championship individual event. For the outdoor season, student-athletes must have competed in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
