BLACKSBURG, Va. — The Virginia Tech track and field team qualified twenty seven athletes for the NCAA East First Round Regional, hosted by the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Ky., May 27-30.
Virginia Tech will send 27 athletes to the NCAA First Round in Lexington for a chance to qualify for the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore., June 10-13.
The top 12 competitors in each individual event and the top 12 teams in each relay event will advance from both the East and West First Rounds to Eugene.
The list of qualifiers from each event contested in the first rounds will be announced Sunday, May 31. The final list of championship participants will be announced Tuesday, June 2.
