2021-22: NCAA Qualifier… Went 0-2 competing at his first NCAA Championships… Placed fourth at the ACC Championships… Southeast Open runner-up… Finished the season with a 12-11 record.
2020-21: Went 5-1 in his second season competing for the Hokies, 4-1 at 141 pounds and 1-0 at 133 pounds… Defeated Virginia’s Dylan Cedeno by 7-6 decision in the extra matches of the teams’ dual… Bested Ryan Sullivan of West Virginia by 5-1 decision… Won his first match of the season by fall in the Ohio dual.
2019-20: NCAA Qualifier… Placed fifth at the ACC Championships to claim an automatic qualification to the NCAAs… Pinned Harrison Campbell of Duke in 4:27 in the ACC fifth-place match… Finished the season with a 9-5 dual record in his first season starting at 133 pounds… Went 1-2 at the Cliff Keen Invitational… Went 3-2 and had a pin at the Navy Classic… Claimed a 7-1 decision over No. 14 Quinn Kinner of Ohio State to help Tech pull the upset over the third-ranked Buckeyes.
2018-19: Redshirted … Went 17-6 wrestling unattached … Placed seventh at the Southern Scuffle, where he went 4-2 … Only losses came against Iowa State’s John Twomey and 2019 All-American Roman Bravo-Young of Penn State, both in sudden victory … Defeated Lehigh’s Nick Farro by a 2-0 decision in the seventh-place match … Went 3-1 at the Hokie Open and 4-2 at the Wolfpack Open … Won the 133-pound title at the App State Open.
High School: Four-year varsity wrestler at Powhatan High School … Wrestled at 132 pounds … Was a four-time VHSL 4A State Champion … Selected as 2015 Beast of the East All-American … 2018 NHSCA National Champion … Club team was the Virginia Team Predator.
