2019-20: NCAA Qualifier… Placed fifth at the ACC Championships to claim an automatic qualification to the NCAAs… Defeated Duke’s Eric Carter in the fifth-place match by a 17-2 technical fall in 6:05 to secure his spot at the NCAA Championships… Won by fall at the Moss Arts Center match on Senior Night… Beat No. 16 Logan Parks of Central Michigan helping the Hokies to their road victory over the 24th-ranked Chippewas… Placed fourth at the Navy Classic after going 3-2 with two major decision victories… Claimed a 3-1 decision over Ohio State’s Elijah Cleary to help the Hokies take down the third-ranked Buckeyes… Won ACC Wrestler of the Week the first week of the 2019-20 season… Defeated 16th-ranked Jarrett Jacques of Missouri in sudden victory to help the Hokies pull the upset over the ninth-ranked Tigers.
2018-19: NCAA qualifier … Went 18-11 and 10-4 in duals … Went 1-2 at the NCAA Championships … Defeated Ben Anderson (Duke) at NCAAs by a 12-4 major decision … Went 3-1 at the ACC Championships to place third… Narrowly fell to Taleb Rahmani (Pitt) in TB-2 by a 4-3 decision at ACCs… Won first two matches at Southern Scuffle before medically forfeiting … Had a pin in 43 seconds over Jake Keating (Virginia) at the Virginia Duals … Beat Quincy Monday (Princeton) in TB-1 by a 5-4 decision… Went 3-2 at Cliff Keen Invitational.

Went 12-12 overall and 7-5 in duals as a redshirt freshman … Started for the Hokies at 157 pounds at the ACC Championship … ACC Wrestler of the Week (Nov. 22) … Suffered a leg injury against Duke on Jan. 27 that kept him out until the ACC Championships … Went 2-1 at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic with a 12-2 major decision over Lock Haven’s Jon Ross and a 9-7 decision over Oklahoma State’s Wyatt Sheets … Defeated Chattanooga’s Dylan Forzani with a 16-7 major decision and Central Michigan’s Colin Heffernan with a 3-1 decision in his first two career starts at 157 … Went 1-2 at the Cliff Keen Invitational … Took an 8-2 decision over West Virginia’s Zach Moore in a dual … Beat Campbell’s Austin Kraisser with an 11-5 decision and Oklahoma’s Justin Thomas with a 3-2 decision at the Virginia Duals … Took an 8-2 decision against Pitt’s GioVonne Sanders in a dual … Topped Ian Brown of Lehigh with a 3-2 decision in TB-2.
