Charlotte Lowndes joined the women’s basketball program in the summer of 2023 as a graduate assistant and is in her second season with the program, now under the leadership of Megan Duffy.
She came to Blacksburg after a four-year career as a student-athlete at Emory University in Atlanta.
She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology, while being a member of of Psi Chi Honor Society and being selected to to UAA Winter All-Academic Team.
Lowndes owns experience as a high school girls basketball coach, a basketball trainer, a teaching assistant as well as a player development intern for the Washington Wizards. She also participated in a presentation titles So You Want To Be A Coach in Dallas in March 2023.
A native of Bethesda, Md. Lowndes enjoys to outdoors and participating in community service in her free time.
