- A 6-foot guard from Hartford, Connecticut, King played club ball for CT Heights.
- For the Watkinson School, King has won three varsity letters, winning MVP awards in 2016 and 2017.

- Born on October 28, she is the daughter of Shawnette Guthrie and has two siblings, Ravan and Yumiko.
