High school: Earned four varsity letters in track and field and cross country at Briar Woods High under Eric Callender … Was all-state in the 1600- and 3200-meter and cross country … Was the school recorder holder for the 800-meter, 1600-meter, 3200-meter, and 5K … Was a part of the National Honor Society.
