2004 Outdoor: Competed in the 100 and 400 meter hurdles and the 4x400m relay ... Took 10th at the BIG EAST Championships in the 100m hurdles with her season best time of 14.10 ... Finished third (100m hurdles) at the Virginia Tech Invitational ... Competed five other times in the 100m hurdles ... Had a season best time of 1:01.72 in the 400m hurdles at the Georgia Tech Invitational ... Was a member of the 4x400m relay team that took seventh at BIG EAST Championships.

2004 Indoor: Competed in the 55 and 60 meters and the 55 and 60m hurdles also in the 4x400m and the DMR ... Had two first place finishes and ten top-ten finishes during the season ... Finished 13th in the 60m and 60m hurdles at the BIG EAST Championships ... Posted a season best 55m (7.29) and 55m hurdle (8.20) time and won the events at the VMI Invitational ... Recorded 7.74 in the 60m and 8.59 in the 60m hurdles for her season bests.

Prior to Tech: Redshirted the 2003 season at Iowa State University ... Competed the entire 2002 season for the Cyclones, finishing 10th in the 400 meter hurdles at the Big 12 Championships.

High School: Accounted for 28 of her team's 43 points at the 2001 Virginia AAA Indoor State Championships, winning both the 55 meter hurdles and 300 meters, leading Brooke Point to a second place finish ... Was a high school All-American and finished second at the NIKE Indoor Classic.

Personal: Born on Nov. 29, 1983 in Fayetteville, N.C. ... Daughter of Wayne and Diane Sanders ... Her father was a member of the T.C. Williams football team featured in Remember the Titans ... Human services major.
