2008 Outdoor: Achieved All-American status with a six-place vault of 13-05.25 at the NCAA Championships … Finished runner-up in the pole vault at the NCAA East Regional, clearing 13-03.75 … Placed fifth in the pole vault at the ACC Championships with a vault of 12-01.50.

2008 Indoor: Qualified for the national meet in the pole vault … Won the ACC title in the pole vault, clearing 12’9.5” … Vaulted a personal best 13-06.50 in a first-place effort at the Penn State National Invite … Tallied four victories, and two runner-ups in the pole vault on the season.

2007 Outdoor: Redshirted … Jumped in five meets as an unattached athlete, raising her then-personal best to 3.75m (12’3.75”) … Opened the season with a 3.50m (11’5.5”) clearance at the Wake Forest Open … Registered a height of 3.65m (11’11.75”) to finish sixth at the Weems Baskin Relays … Finished second at the Paul Keiser Classic with a jump of 3.51m (11’6.25”) … Finished third at the Liberty Twilight meet with a jump of 3.75m (12’3.75”) … Finished season with a sixth-place finish at the UNC Elite Meet, registering a jump of 3.65m (11’11.75”).

2007 Indoor: Redshirted .... Jumped 3.45m (11’3.75”) in her first event at the Liberty Twilight as an unattached athlete … Jumped 3.52m (11’6.5”) in her only other meet.

High School: Competed in gymnastics … During junior season, won Level Nine State and Mid-East Regional championships on the uneven parallel bars … Level Nine State and Mid-East Regional medalist on the vault … Level Nine Eastern Nationals qualifier on the vault during junior and senior years … Honor roll student.

Personal: Born September 2, 1988 in Blacksburg, Va. … Daughter of Bob and Katherine Phillips … Double-majoring in biology and human nutrition, foods and exercise … Father, Bob, was an All-American vaulter for Tech in 1980, and is current pole vault coach for Tech.
