2019 Outdoor: Threw a mark of 18.28 meters (59 feet, 11.75 inches) in the shot put at the NCAA Outdoor Championships … Qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a toss of 18.70 meters (61 feet, 4.25 inches) in the shot put at the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds … Won silver in the shot put at the ACC Outdoor Championships with a throw of 18.53 meters (60 feet, 9.5 inches) …  Also placed fifth in the hammer throw with a mark of 62.26 meters (204 feet, 3 inches) ... Placed third in the shot put with a toss of 17.47 meters (57 feet, 3.75 inches) at the Virginia Grand Prix ... 2019 indoor: Was named the ACC Men's Field Performer of the Year … Won silver medals in both the shot put and the weight throw at the ACC Championships … Set a personal best in the weight throw at the ACC's indoor meet with a top mark of 20.74 meters (68 feet, 0.5 inch) … Also set a personal best in the shot put at the ACC meet, throwing the shot 18.19 meters (59 feet, 8.25 inches … Threw the shot put better than 17.26 meters (56 feet, 7.5 inches) in every meet (four meets) … Had four top-five finishes in the shot put during the indoor season … Threw the weight better than 20 meters in five meets … Had five top-five finishes in the weight throw during the indoor season, including two second-place finishes.

High school: Attended Campbell High in Smyrna, Georgia … Set the state record in the shot put with a top toss of 67 feet, 10 inches … Broke a mark that had lasted 50 years … Won the Class 6A state title in the shot … Named the Gatorade State Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year in 2016.
