Will Marshall joined the Hokies in January as a Volunteer Assistant coach and will be responsible for training the squad’s goalkeepers.
A native of North Versailles, Pennsylvania, Marshall spent four years with the Pitt Panthers before transferring to West Chester University where he earned All-PSAC and All-Atlantic Region honors.
In his lone season at West Chester Marshall set school records with wins by a keeper (15) and shutouts in a season (9) as he led the Golden Rams to the NCAA Division II College Cup Final.
During his time at Pitt Marshall also spent four years as a coach and instructor with the Riverhounds Developing Academy. Following his collegiate career Marshall was named the assistant director of goalkeeping for the Riverhounds in 2019. Marshall was responsible for managing the training curriculum and session for all keepers.
