Responsibilities: Ziyout coordinates all sports medicine needs for the Virginia Tech men’s basketball program.

Prior to Virginia Tech: Hisham graduated from Salisbury University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. While at Salisbury, he was president of the Athletic Training Club and a member of the MATA, MAATA, and NATA. After graduating, he completed a two-year internship at Johns Hopkins University working with the Men's Lacrosse, Volleyball, Women's Basketball and Water Polo programs.

Of Note: Hisham has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association since 2015. He is a licensed athletic trainer by the Virginia Board of Health Professions. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has a Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is also certified in the use of Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training.
Personal: Hisham is from Parkville, Maryland and now resides in Blacksburg.
