Adam Ireland is in his third season on the Virginia Tech staff, serving as the Assistant Director of Football Coaching Video, following a brief stint at Eastern Kentucky.
The Raleigh, North Carolina native is a 2021 graduate of Appalachian State, working in the athletic department as a video assistant with the football program as a student. Ireland was the Director of Coaching Solutions during his final two years in Boone. The Mountaineers compiled a record of 43-10 in his time with the program.
In his current role, Ireland assists in the recording every Tech game and practice from multiple angles. Thanks to a 50-computer network, along with the latest technology and software, Ireland and the football video team provide a full array of assets to Tech’s coaching and player personnel staffs.
