2021: Started 12 games, 11 at left tackle and one at right tackle vs. Richmond (9/25).

2020: Started nine games at right tackle ... Earned PFF College National Team of the Week honors after Tech rolled up 314 rushing yards vs. NC State (9/26) … Started at Duke (10/3) … Was unavailable to play at UNC (10/10) and vs. Boston College (10/17) … Started the final seven games of the season … Part of a Tech offensive line that helped the Hokies produce an ACC-best 240.1 rushing ypg average … Helped Tech average a school-record 5.58 yards per carry and opened holes for RB Khalil Hebert, who led Tech with 1,182 rushing yards.
 
2019: Versatile offensive linemen and special teams performer played in all 13 games with five starts at right tackle … Also worked as a tackle eligible in jumbo formations … Saw his first collegiate duty at Boston College (8/31) … Blocked a field goal in the fifth OT vs. UNC (10/19), allowing Tech to get to a sixth overtime in an epic 43-41 win … Earned his first career start at right tackle vs. Wake Forest (11/9) and opened at that spot the remainder of the season.
 
2018: Did not see game action and redshirted.
 
High School: 2017 VHSL Class 3A all-state pick … Racked up 52.5 tackles and 11 tackles for loss at defensive end … All-conference, all-district and all-region selection on the offensive line … Registered multiple starts at offensive tackle … Three-time letterwinner … Played for head coach Ed Redmond at Western Albemarle High School.
 
Personal: Luke Nicholas Tenuta … Born in Columbus, Ohio … Son of Jon and Dori Tenuta … Father, Jon, played defensive back at Virginia (1978-80) and joined Tech’s staff as a senior defensive analyst in 2021 owning 40 years of experience in the coaching profession, including 19 seasons as a defensive coordinator … Has two older brothers, Zach serves as the defensive coordinator at Norfolk State University, while Matt is a professional baseball player with the Monterrey Sultans ... Majoring in sports media and analytics.
