Adam Brooks

Director, Equipment Services, Football

Before arriving in Blacksburg, Brooks spent three years at Georgia Southern, working as the head equipment manager
for two years before being promoted to director of equipment services his last year in Statesboro. He was responsible
for all aspects of operating an NCAA equipment facility, including budgeting, purchasing, ordering and keeping inventory.

Prior to his assignment with Georgia Southern, Brooks served five years at the United States Military Academy beginning
his tenure as an assistant equipment manager in 2010. He later served as the head equipment manager for Army men’s and
women’s basketball, while assisting with football at West Point.
 
During his tenure at Army, he volunteered for three East-West Shrine All-Star games, as well as assisting this past year
with the game. The game is a college football all-star matchup held annually in St. Petersburg, Florida, allowing recently
graduated players and early entries to showcase their skills to scouts in preparation for the NFL Draft.

Brooks graduated from Marshall University with a business administration degree and served as a student equipment
manager for four years before beginning work on a master’s degree in sports administration while working as a graduate
student equipment manager in Huntington.
 
Brooks is a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Manager Association (AEMA). Brooks and his wife, Jade, have
four children —Hudson, Elin, Luna, and Maebry.
