Collegiate Career: Competed in football and track for the 2018 and 2019 seasons before focusing on track … One of the best track and field athletes in the ACC the last few years, Beck owns the program record for 100 meters during the outdoor season … In 2022 he was named the ACC Championships Track MVP for both the indoor and outdoor seasons after winning the 200m and 4x100m races … Beck is a two-time outdoor All-American on the track.

2023: Played in four games on special teams units before suffering a season ending injury.

2022: Played in nine games on special teams units ... Attempted five kickoff returns totaling 102 kick return yards (20.4-yard average) ... Recorded one tackle ... Brought back two kickoffs totaling 43 return yards, averaging 21.5 yards per return at Duke (Nov. 12) ... Set a career long with his 26-yard kickoff return during the third quarter ... Returned his first three career kickoffs, totaling 59 kick return yards (19.7-yard average) against Georgia Tech (Nov. 5) ... Recorded his first career tackle (solo) at North Carolina (Oct. 1).
 
2018: Redshirted … Was a member of the Tech’s men track and field team that captured ACC team championships in both the indoor and outdoor seasons … Made the finals at the ACC outdoor championships in the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash and ran the final leg of the 4x100-meter relay team.

High School: Was a two-sport athlete at Blacksburg, earning three letters in track and field and football … Was the 2018 All-Timesland Boys Athlete of the Year … Was a three-time winner of the VHSL 4A state meet in the 100- and 200-meter dash … Was the runner-up in the 100-meter dash at the New Balance National Championships with a time of 10.41 … Set a high school personal record of 10.37 in the 100-meter dash at the Blacksburg Invitational … On the gridiron he produced 4,723 rushing yards, 6,027 total yards and 81 touchdowns during his career at Blacksburg High School … Rushed for more than 1,900 yards and scored 32 touchdowns as a senior playing for head coach Thad Wells … Helped lead the Bruins to a 10-5 record in 2016 and the 3A football state championship … A New Balance Outdoor All-American and a 13-time state champion in track at Blacksburg HS.
