A walk-on who has seen action on both offense and defense ... Finished up in the spring at free safety ... Is athletic, but needs to get stronger ... His progress during the preseason will help determine his role.

2007: Joined the team once school started ... Started the fall at the field corner spot, but worked at free safety in the spring ... Did not dress for any games, taking a redshirt year.

2006: Worked at the split end position during the fall ... Also saw some action on defense during the jayvee games ... Posted a 36-inch vertical jump during strength and conditioning tests ... Worked at cornerback during the spring.

High School: Saw action at receiver, tailback and outside linebacker while playing for Coach Bill Bowles at Meadowbrook ... Earned first-team all-district honors as a running back and linebacker ... Was a second-team pick as a receiver ... Helped team to a state AAA title ... Rushed for over 500 yards and scored eight touchdowns as a senior running back ... Added 14 receptions for 200 yards ... Was a member of the Central Region All-Academic team ... Also played baseball.
