A left-footed kicker with the talent to be a top-notch performer ... Will be a candidate for the kicking, punting and kickoff duties when practice resumes ... Could win one or a combination of those jobs if he shows more consistency ... 2002: Dressed for the first three games, but did not play ... Was forced into action for the Boston College game when Carter Warley was sidelined with a back problem ... Kicked off twice in the first half against the Eagles ... Was successful on his four extra points, but barely missed his lone field goal attempt, a 41-yarder ... Was successful on all five extra points against Rutgers, but missed his lone field goal attempt, a 36-yarder ... Connected on his first collegiate field goal against Temple, a 21-yard attempt ... Later made a 22-yard kick ... Missed from 42 yards out, but made both of his extra points ... Was 3-for-3 on PATs against Pittsburgh, but missed a 42-yard field goal in the fourth quarter ...
