His showing in preseason practice will help determine his playing status for 2003 ... 2002: Practiced at the backer position during the fall and served as a reserve deep snapper ... Did not see action and was redshirted ... Had a 340-pound bench press and a 475 back squat during spring testing ... Was in on three tackles during one spring scrimmage ...
