Kemari Copeland Season 2025

2025:  Started all 12 games ... tallied 48 tackles (11 solo) including 7.5 TFLs ... Led the team with 4.5 sacks ... Also registered an interception and a quarterback hurry ... named ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week for his efforts in a 42-34 overtime win over Cal (Oct. 24), in which he had seven tackles including four solo stops ... he had three sacks in the contest, becoming the first Hokies defensive tackle to have at least three sacks in a game since current defensive line coach J.C. Price in 1995 ... was named Third Team All-ACC.

2024: Played in four games, making six tackles before missing the rest of the season with an inury.

2023 at Iowa Western C.C.:  Played in 13 games on the defensive line … Recorded 38 tackles, including four and a half sacks, nine tackles for loss, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup, helping the Reivers claim the NJCAA Division 1 National Championship … Ranked as the No. 10 junior college player nationally for the 2024 class according to Rivals and the No. 12 junior college recruit by 247Sports.
 
2022 at Army West Point:  Appeared in seven games, making two tackles. Deadlifted 650 pounds with a 675-pound squat and 400-pound bench press.

High School:  Named All-Beach District and Beach District Defensive Player of the Year as a senior at Floyd Kellam … Named All-Tidewater as a senior … Recorded 108 total tackles as a junior on his way to First Team All-Beach & Second Team All-Region honors.
 
Personal: Son of Stephen and Keketrius Copeland … Has three brothers, Stephen, Kobe and Zion … Stephen played football at Elon.
