Started the season at No. 2 on the depth chart, but moved into the starting lineup for the Temple game ... Gives away some size to bigger players, but makes up for it with quick feet and solid fundamentals ... Started out the spring at left tackle and struggled ... Was switched back to the right side and was much more comfortable ... Ranks as one of the best athletes on the offensive line, but must continue working to increase his weight and strength ... Is expected to maintain his starting job at right tackle ... Has the potential to become an outstanding player ... 2002: Started the last seven games of the season ... Ended up playing 409 regular-season offensive snaps ... Graded out at 83.1 percent for the season with nine knockdown blocks ... Played 34 snaps on offense in the opener against Arkansas State ... Played briefly in wins over Marshall and at Western Michigan ... Came in to play 20 snaps against Rutgers, grading out at 80 percent with a knockdown block ...
