Kyle Romano begins his first season with the Virginia Tech baseball team after joining the staff as a student manager in August, 2023. In this position, Romano guarantees that all necessary equipment is set up, helps the coaching staff feed machines during practices, and assists in laundry duties.
Romano is originally from Bristow, Virginia, where he attended Unity Reed High School. Throughout all four years of his high school career, he participated on the varsity swim and baseball teams. At Virginia Tech, Romano has plans to double major in accounting and information systems as well as finance, with plans to graduate in May, 2026. After graduation, he aspires to become a certified public accountant. Kyle is the son of Mark and Maureen Romano, and has one older brother, Mark Romano Jr. A Northern Virginia native, Romano supports all of his local teams, including the Washington Nationals, Washington Commanders, and Washington Capitals.
