Noah Johnson Season 2022

2021:  Made 16 relief appearances … Threw 14.0 innings … Struck out 20 batters and surrendered five walks ... Threw 2.2 innings at East Tennessee State (April 6), striking out five batters and allowing two hits … Struck out five batters across 2.2 innings of work against VCU (March 9) … Went 2.0 innings during his season debut against Radford (Feb. 23), recording three strikeouts and allowing one hit.

2020: Appeared in three games, all in relief, making collegiate debut against UNCG (Feb. 15) throwing a season-high 1.0 innings and striking out a season-high two batters ... Did not allow an earned run over 1.2 innings pitched, struck out three batters and walked one ... Retired 3-of-3 first batters faced and did not allow any of the four inherited runners to score … Pitched one full scoreless inning, and 1.2 consecutive overall … Also, ended the year by retiring three straight batters.

High School: Earned varsity letters all four years pitching for coach Tim Gerken at St. Francis de Sales … A three-time All-TRAC member, earning first team as a junior and senior … Also a three-time Academic All-Ohio selection … In last two years at St. Francis, tossed 80 innings, struck out 105 batters, went 7-3 with a 1.85 ERA … Twice took a perfect game into the seventh inning, but lost it, while striking out at least 13 batters in each, including a 14-K district semifinal contest … Was also on the golf team, earning three varsity letters and was a member of the All-TRAC team.
