  Male recipient of the Skelton Award for Academic Excellence in Athletics (and accompanying $5,000 scholarship), presented to a rising junior, senior or fifth-year who has participated in intercollegiate athletics for at least two seasons at Virginia Tech and holds an overall GPA of 3.40 or better.

Career Highlights:  2021 – Combined to record nine strikeouts across six scoreless relief innings during a three-game series at Pitt (March 26-28, 2021).

2023 at Virginia Tech
Season Notes:  Made 17 appearances … Posted a 2-0 record … Threw 17.2 innings … Earned the win against UMass Lowell (March 7), recording four strikeouts across 2.1 innings … Pitched 3.1 innings in Radford (April 18), allowing only one hit and zero runs in relief … Struck out five batters at #1 Wake Forest (May 20) across 2.2 innings.

ACC Baseball Championship:  Pitched during top-seeded, No. 2 Virginia Tech's 18-6 win against 12th-seeded Clemson (May 26).
• Returned to the pitcher’s mound to make his season debut and his first career start during Tech's 8-2 win against Kansas State (May 17) ... Struck out two of the four batters he faced during a scoreless inning of work.

2021:  Made 22 relief appearances, posting a 4-1 record ... Recorded two saves ... Logged the second most innings by a Tech pitcher who threw exclusively from the bullpen (29.1) ...
