Career Highlights:  2021 – Entered the season with his career ERA at 2.41, the best mark by a Tech pitcher during its ACC era ... 2020 – Struck out a career high, 12 batters, at Louisiana (Feb. 21, 2020); became the first Tech sophomore since 2005 to strike out a dozen or more batters during a game and the first of all classes to do so since Connor Coward struck out 12 against Pitt (March 9, 2018); tied for the fourth most strikeouts thrown by a Tech pitcher since 2005 ... 2019 – became the second Hokie freshman pitcher to win three ACC games, joining Justin Wright (2008), but was the first to win all three decisions as a starter; also became the third Tech pitcher and first freshman to win three ACC road starts (Joe Parsons, 2011; Devin Burke, 2013) ... 2019 – Became the 12th Tech pitcher to strike out 10 or more batters during an ACC contest (10 – March 9 at Florida State); also became the second freshman to achieve the feat (Ian Seymour, 2018) ... 2019 – Took a no-hitter into the seventh inning of Tech's victory at No. 1 Florida State (Mach 9, 2019), the furthest held by a Hokie pitcher during an ACC road game; previous such high was by Devin Burke, who entered the sixth inning with a no-hitter in tact at Boston College (May 4, 2013); combined with Jack Dellinger on Tech's one-hitter against the Seminoles – the program's first one-hitter registered during an ACC game; previous such record was a three-hitter, achieved six times (four times on the road) ... 2019 – Finished the season with a 2.77 ERA, the third lowest by a Tech pitcher (min. 40 IP) since the program joined the ACC in 2005; also posted the third best ACC-only ERA (3.48, min. 30 IP) ... 2019 – Became the second freshman to lead Tech in both cumulative and ACC-only ERA, joining Ian Seymour (2018).

2021:  Posted a 2-2 record across his eight starts for the Hokies ... Led Tech's starting pitchers with his 3.02 ERA ... Threw the fourth most innings on the team (41.2) … Held opponents to a .239 batting average … Commanded a 4.00 strikeout-to-walk ratio, recording 48 strikeouts while issuing 12 walks … Set a season high for strikeouts, logging 10 across eight innings of work at Duke (May 16) ... Picked up the win against Florida State (March 13) after throwing seven shutout innings, allowing two hits while striking out eight … Earned the win during his season debut, dealing seven strikeouts while allowing four hits and one run against Kent State (Feb. 21).

2020Started all four games appeared in, tied for the most on the team, and recorded one quality start … Led the staff with a 1.57 ERA in a team-high 23.0 innings pitched, struck out 29 batters, walked just four and posted a 1-1 record … Picked up lone win versus Bryant (Feb. 28) ... Tossed a season-high 7.0 innings and struck out a season-high 12 batters at Louisiana (Feb. 21) … Struck out at least five in every start and struck out the side once … Pitched a team-best 19 scoreless innings, including 9.1 consecutive … Also, threw four perfect frames and, at one point, retired six straight batters … Had two double plays turned behind him, both GDPs, and also picked off one baserunner … In the NCAA, finished tied for 29th in starts, 72nd in strikeout-to-walk ratio (7.25), 107th in walks allowed per nine innings (1.57), 110th in strikeouts and 119th in ERA.

2019: Started all 12 games appeared in, second-most on the team, and recorded two quality starts (second) … Led the staff with a 2.77 ERA in 55.1 innings pitched (second), struck out 44 batters, walked 25 and posted a 3-2 record, while combining on one shutout … Picked up wins at Florida State (March 9), at Pittsburgh (March 16) and at Wake Forest (April 7) ... Tossed a season-high 7.0 innings and struck out a season-high 10 batters in shared shutout versus Seminoles (March 9) … In first 32.2 innings pitched of the season, did not allow an extra-base hit and surrendered just six all season, including one home run … Had a total of 12 multi-K outings, including two games with at least six, and struck out the side once … Pitched a total of 43 scoreless innings (second), including a team-long 19.0 consecutive … Also, threw 16 perfect frames (third) and, at one point, retired 13 straight batters (second) … Had a team-best nine double plays turned behind him, all GDPs, and also picked off a team-high three baserunners … In the NCAA, at the end of the regular season, ranked 105th in ERA, while finishing the year 94th ... High School: Earned varsity letters for three seasons while pitching for coach Bob Muggeo at Bergen Catholic ... Finished his varsity baseball career with a 19-2 record while earning all-state, all-county and all-league honors … Named the Bergen County tournament most valuable pitcher, while the Crusaders won the county championship in 2017.
