Career Highlights: Has two career walk-off RBI - first was registered with a 10th-inning, bases-loaded single against Boston College on April 2, 2017 and the second was an RBI squeeze bunt in the 12th inning against Radford on February 27, 2018 (Head Coach John Szefc's first home game at English Field at Union Park) ... Is just the third Hokie ever to hit a game-opening home run on the road in an ACC contest (at Georgia Tech, March 16, 2018), joining Jake Atwell (March 17, 2012 at GT) and Saige Jenco (March 27, 2015 at FSU), and is only Tech player to do it twice, after hitting a game-opening home run at Wake Forest (April 6, 2019) ... Is only Hokie to hit at three leadoff home runs (team's first at-bat of the contest) in an ACC game - as he hit a leadoff home run versus North Carolina on May 13, 2017 ... Jenco did it twice, but his second was at Liberty (April 14, 2014) ... Had started every game for Tech since arriving on campus - 99 straight starts - until an illness kept him out of the game versus VMI (May 1, 2018) ... In 2019, his .456 on-base percentage was the fourth best ever at Tech since 2005, while he finished his career first in hit by pitches (37), sixth in on-base percentage (.418, min. 300 ABs), sixth in assists (364) and eighth in runs (130).

2019: Made 44 starts for the Hokies – 41 at second base, three as the designated hitter – and played in 47 games total … In majority of starts (31), was the leadoff batter … During the season, had 16 multi-hit games (third most on the team), including a team-high nine with three hits … Added two multi-RBI games and nine multi-run scoring games … Had a season-best four-game hitting streak and a reached base streak of 19 straight (tied for the second longest) … Led the team with a .323 batting average with 53 hits (third), including nine doubles and two home runs for 68 total bases and a .415 slugging percentage … Scored 33 runs (T-third) and added 12 RBI … Was walked 30 times (third) and was hit by 11 pitches (T-second) for a team-best .456 on-base percentage … Was 5-for-8 in stolen base attempts … Had three sacrifice hits and one sacrifice fly … Led the team with five game-winning runs and tied for second with three game-winning RBI … Drew a walk in his only pinch-hit opportunity … Second on the team with 94 assists and 22 fielding double plays … In the NCAA, at the end of the regular season, ranked 109th in on-base percentage and finished the year ranked 95th … In the ACC, at the end of the regular season, ranked ninth in on-base percentage, and finished sixth (.444) in ACC-only games ... Had 11 multi-hit games, including two games with three and two with four … Added five multi-RBI games and nine multi-run scoring games (tied for second), including two with three and two games with four … Had a season-best six-game hitting streak and a reached base streak of 17 straight games (team high for the year) … Batted .266 with 55 hits, including eight doubles, two triples and two home runs, for 73 total bases and a .353 slugging percentage … Scored a team-high 45 runs and added 23 RBI … Drew a team-high 25 walks and was hit by 15 pitches (also first) for a .380 on-base percentage … Also added a team-high six sacrifice bunts and three sacrifice flies … Stole a team-most 11 bases on 13 attempts ... 2017: One of three Hokies to start all 55 games for the Hokies – 46 at second base and nine at third … Hit leadoff for the last 53 games of the season ... 2016: Sat out the season due to NCAA transfer rules.

2015 (at East Carolina): Appeared in two games, getting three plate appearances … Was 1-for-2 with a single and also was hit by a pitch.

High School: Earned varsity letters all f­our years while playing for coach Jody Rutherford at Lake Braddock Secondary … As a freshman batted .300 helping the Bruins to a state quarterfinal appearance, before batting .369 as a sophomore and helping team to their first state championship ... Earned first-team all-district and honorable mention all-region honors ... As a junior batted .468 repeating as a first-team all-district player and earning second-team all-region honors ... During senior season limited in action due to injury, but still managed to bat .375.
