Career Highlights: Has two career walk-off RBI - registering first with a 10th-inning, bases-loaded single versus Old Dominion on April 18, 2018 and the second was a two-run walk-off home run versus Radford (Feb. 26, 2019) ... Since 2005, a Hokie has hit a walk-off home run 10 times, but this was just the second time when Tech was tailing in the home half - Brendon Hayden (May 3, 2015 vs. Boston College), also a two-run shot, the last walk-off home run before Horanski's.

2019: Started all 39 games played for the Hokies – 25 as the designated hitter and 14 at catcher … In majority of starts (31) batted in third … During the season, had 10 multi-hit games, including three with three hits … Added nine multi-RBI games (tied for second most), including three games with three and a team-best two games with five – versus Manhattan (Feb. 16) and UNC Greensboro (Feb. 24) … Also had eight multi-run scoring games … Had a season-best seven-game hitting streak and a reached base streak of 21 straight (tied for the team long) … Has a .279 batting average with 36 hits, including seven doubles and nine home runs (second) for 70 total bases (fourth) and a .424 slugging percentage … Scored 28 runs and added 36 RBI (third) … Was walked 25 times and was hit by 11 pitches (T-second) for a .424 on-base percentage … Was 1-for-2 in stolen base attempts and led the team with five sacrifice flies … In ACC-only games, hit a team-best six home runs and posted a .565 slugging percentage in 20 games … Scored two game-winning runs and had two game-winning RBI … Committed just one error in 117 chances for a .992 fielding percentage … In the NCAA, at the end of the regular season, ranked 94th in sacrifice flies and finished 122nd.

Before Tech: Spent the 2017 season at Cisco JC and the prior two years at Creighton (2015-16) ... At Cisco, was named First Team All-Conference as a catcher after playing in 40 games and finishing fourth on the team in batting with a .356 average and second in both on-base percentage (.500) and slugging percentage (.526) ... Had 36 hits, including nine doubles, a triple and two home runs, and walked 23 times (third on the team) and was hit by six pitches ... Scored 22 runs, added 19 RBI and struck out just 12 times in 101 at-bats, the fewest on the team of players with at least 80 ABs ... At Creighton, played in 18 games and made 11 starts at catcher as a freshman in 2015 ... Had eight hits, including three doubles, knocked in five and scored twice ... Was sidelined with an injury in 2016.

High School: Did not play baseball for his high school team, but played for the Langley Blaze, rated the top team in Canada by Perfect Game and Baseball America ... Was also a member of Canada's Junior National Team under coach Greg Hamilton ... Was an All-Tournament catcher at the 18U Pan American Baseball Confederation Championship in 2014 and helped the team to the 2015 IBAF 18U World Cup ...
