Entered game three against A&T in the second inning and pitched eight scoreless innings for a win ... Allowed just one hit and three base runners, while striking out a career-high 11 batters ... Pitched 6.1 innings in a no-decision at Georgia Tech, allowing four hits, two earned runs and striking out nine ... Suffered an elbow injury in a brief appearance against Marist and missed starts against NC State and UNC ... After further testing, doctors found a torn ligament in his right elbow ... Underwent surgery and missed the rest of the season.
