Worked his way back and had an all-star senior year in helping Calvert Hall to a 31-1 record, a state championship and a No. 4 ranking by USA Today ... Entered Tech with a sore shoulder ... Hokies are hoping he can return at some point during the season.2005-06: Experienced soreness in his shoulder, then a sore elbow at the start of Tech's fall practice ... Underwent elbow surgery in November ... Sat out the season, while undergoing physical therapy and rehab.
High School: Played for Coach Lou Eckerl at Calvert Hall ... Did not play as a junior following a car accident ... Returned for his senior year and posted a 10-0 mark on the mound with 1.72 earned run average ... Pitched 67.2 innings with 61 strikeouts and 14 walks ...
