Has performed well at the plate both of his two fall seasons at Tech ... Is still trying to duplicate that offense during the spring after hitting just .164 over 30 games last season ... Needs to focus on developing consistency in his overall game ... Has the ability and arm to be a good defensive outfielder ... Showed that potential at times in 2003 and during the fall ... Has improved his swing and made some adjustments at the plate ... Will see more playing time if he stays focused and puts the ball in play more consistently this spring ...2002-03: Started 12 games in left field and seven in right ... Played in a total of 30 games ... Went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and two runs batted in during Tech's second game against Georgetown ... Hit his only home run of the season in that game ... Had two hits, including a triple, against Virginia in Salem ... Finished the season with a .164 batting average ... Scored 10 runs and drove in four ...
